David Jerome Horrell, age 66, of Rose Hill died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at his home.

He was born November 6, 1941 in Pender County and was the son of Margaret "Peggy" Horrell of Currie and the late Roger Franklin Horrell. He was also predeceased by his brother, Paul Malpass.

Mr. Horrell was an evangelist minister who was a strong Prayer Warrior and ministered to many throughout his earthly life.

Surviving are his loving wife of forty-five years, Penny K. Horrell of the home; daughter, Melissa Horrell of Watha; son, David Horrell, Jr. of Rose Hill; and sister-in-law, Martha Malpass of Currie.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, at The House of God Christian Center, 206 Raleigh St., Wallace, with The Rev. Jimmy Morton, Dr. Freddie Powell and Pastor A. Grant officiating.
