Rhonda Carol Bloodworth, age 67, of Atkinson, NC passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on April 27, 1954 in Wilmington, NC to the late James Morris Bloodworth, Sr. and Jean (Taylor) Bloodworth.

Rhonda was a Dental Assistant for over twenty years. She was an avid reader and a very good seamstress. Rhonda was also a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington. She loved her family and enjoyed being a mom and grandmom. Rhonda was a bright light to many people and she will be dearly missed.

Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Robin Metty and husband, Craig; grandchildren, Rendal Jean Hardee and Cole Michael Metty; brother, James Morris Bloodworth, Jr. and wife, Norma; aunts, Cecile Barnhill Crouch and husband, Richard, Linda Taylor Balcombe and husband, Sidney, Rachel Bloodworth Bell Lee, Polly Bloodworth; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington on Saturday, January 29, 2022,  at 3:00pm with Pastor Shawn Blackwelder officiating.
