Richard Hannah, age 54, of Magnolia left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center.

He was born on May 5, 1962 in Bridgeton, New Jersey and was the son of James Richard Hannah of Beulaville and Berdis Marie Shelton Hannah of Rose Hill. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 34 years, Tammy Waddell Hannah and granddaughter, Isabella Hannah.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his children, Billy Hannah of Wallace, Dustin Hannah of New Jersey, Heather Hannah and husband, Ismael Castro of Wilson, Mary Hannah of Magnolia, Johnny Miller of Magnolia and Tammy Hannah also of Magnolia; grandchildren, Billy Hannah, Noah Hannah, Ethan Hannah, Christopher Hannah, Haley Hannah and Annalee Hannah; brothers, Carl Hannah and wife, Vickie of Wallace, Mark Hannah and wife, Crystal of Wallace and Keith Hannah of Wilmington; sister, Dorothy Hannah and husband, Jose of Beulaville and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Richard was kind hearted man who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed selling cars and going to car sales. He was a simple man who was loved and respected by all who knew him. To Richard, no one was a stranger. Being a beloved father, son and brother, he was a hard worker who never complained, just got the job done. Richard will surely be missed but never forgotten and all who knew him were truly blessed.
