Richard "Richie" Dennis Wiles, 76, of Winnabow, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at home following a long illness.

He was born on May 21, 1946, in Mineola, New York, to the late Eric and Josephine (Chase) Wiles.

Richie loved to be on the ocean and was a fearless scuba diver. He also enjoyed crabbing, lobstering, fishing, boating and hunting. But most importantly, Richie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Richie is survived by his loving wife, Joan Papagno Wiles; his sons, Richard Wiles, Jr. and wife Lisa, Eric Wiles; his daughter, Joan Koran and husband, Billy; his sister, Beverly Allegretto; his grandchildren, Sarah Irvin and husband, Matt, Eric Wiles, William Koran, Wyatt Koran, Walker Koran; and great grandchildren, Bailey and Conner.
