Ricky Dean Fipps, 61, of Currie, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at home.

He was born in Horry County, SC, on August 3, 1961, to the late Edgar Oscar Fipps and Mildred (Fowler) Fipps.

Ricky was an outgoing person who loved to camp and fish. He enjoyed cookouts with his family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his brother, Larry Fipps and wife, Betty; his sister, Tammy King; nieces, Wanda Fipps, Terri McLamb and husband, David; nephew, Michael Cox; 13 nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Phipps, Roger Fipps; his sisters, Elaine Manus, Betty Meredith and Judy James.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October, 8, 2022 at 12:00pm at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, 1000 Loggerhead Road, Kure Beach, NC.
