Robert John Alberti II, age 55, of Rocky Point died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 15, 1953 in Suffolk County, New York. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Sinclair Alberti.

Surviving are his daughter, Brittany Alberti of Port Jefferson Station, NY; father, Robert John Alberti and his wife, Gloria, of Newport; brother, Michael Alberti and his wife, Diana, of Newport; sister, Vicki Baldwin and her husband, Mike, of Islip, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robert served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps.

Robert loved his family dearly and was loved in return. With his outgoing personality he never met a stranger and made others feel happy. He was fun loving and always willing to help others. His passions in life were his Harley motorcycle and fishing. Robert will be remembered for his joyful spirit, generous heart and love for his family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
