Robert "Bobby" Earl Allen, age 61, of Delco, NC passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

He was born on January 16, 1961 in Wilmington, NC to Claudia Elizabeth Cameron Allen and the late John Henry Allen.

Bobby enjoyed going to church, trucking and working on cars. He loved his family and the times spent with his grandkids. Bobby was full of life and had an infectious laugh. He was a prankster who liked joking around. Bobby was a bright light to many people and he will be dearly missed.

In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his wife, Thelma B. Allen; son, Brandon Allen (Maria); brothers, John Henry Allen, Jr. (Ruby Simmons) and David Allen (Bonnie); sisters, Pam Hassan and Mary Lewis (Gary); and grandchildren, Caleigh Allen, Rachel Allen, and Isaiah Allen.

In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Robert Earl Allen, Jr.; and sister, Celia Kentrolis.

A visitation will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington on Thursday, March 31, 2022 between 6pm and 8pm.

A memorial service will be held at The Church of God, 246 Middle Sound Loop Road, Wilmington, NC 28411, on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 1pm with Sister Brenda O'Dell officiating.
