Robert "Bobby" Wallace Brunson, age 49, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. He was born on August 24, 1971 in Fayetteville, NC.

Bobby coached youth soccer for many years. He also mentored for robotics at Topsail High School and Pender County schools. Bobby was a great cook and he loved music. As the owner and operator of The Coastal Groundskeeper, a local lawn care and landscaping company, he always went above and beyond for his clients. Bobby was a loving son, husband, and father, who will be dearly missed.

Bobby is survived by his father, Robert "Bob" W. Brunson; parents, Marsha (Owensby) Hinson and Gene Hinson; his wife, Jennifer Sawyer Brunson; sons, Robert Dylan Brunson and Casey Joel Brunson; daughter, Cassidy Lee Brunson; sister, Michele Starling and husband, Paul; half-sister, Lisa Brunson; and nieces, Morgan, Mckenna, and Marla.

Bobby was preceded in death by his stepmother, Linda Brunson; and half-sister, Sandy Johnson.

Everyday, you will continue to touch our lives in ways none of us can even imagine yet. The thought of Bobby Brunson dances across any of our minds and it brings a smile. Our memories will never be forgotten, and neither will you.
