Bob was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church where he served the church in many faithful capacities. He held a BA degree in Medical Technology and retired from Pender Memorial Hospital in 1987.

Bob lived a full life enjoying motorcycle riding, repairing/restoring old vehicles, and working in his yard and garden. His gentleness and infectious laughter drew you into his presence while his positive attitude, encouragement, and compassion kept you there. When adversity came, rather than be defeated, he learned from it, imparting wisdom and hope to others. Above all else Bob loved his family. Treasured memories of Bob remain in our hearts.
