Robert Horace Powell, Sr, 77 of Rocky Point went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Celeste Diane Powell, grandson Michael Dale Powell and great granddaughter Chloe Marie Edens.

Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years Barbara Powell, of the home, children Cindy Goodwyn (Bill), Bobby Powell, Jr (Becky), Rebecca Meshaw (Terry) and Mike Powell (Sandy), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister Clara Fay Worrell (Jerry), many extended family and friends.

Robert was an ordained Minister who touched many lives. He loved his family with all his heart.

Funeral service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Springview Free Will Baptist Church on College Road.
