Robert Lee Ricks, 60, of Rocky Point passed gently from his earthly life Friday, April 10, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 16, 1960 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the son of the late Arthur Ricks, Jr. and Sarah Estelle Franklin Ricks.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Kara Ricks (Austen Hyatt); granddaughter, Estelle Ricks; brothers, Art Ricks III (Ginny) and John Ricks (Barbara); one nephew and several nieces.

Robert was a quiet in manner and gentle in heart man who loved his family especially his granddaughter, Estelle. Spending time with family and friends was Robert's favorite way to spend the day. Robert was loved and will be missed.

Robert's last gift in this world was his decision of gifting to Carolina Donor Services.

Considering current health issues in our country a  Celebration of Robert's life will be a family gathering.
