Robert Wesley Sipper, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

He was born January 22, 1945 in Wake County, the son of Harvey Sipper and Dorothy Ruth Alford Sipper.

Robert is survived by his sons, Wesley Sipper and Greg Sipper (Patricia); his daughter, Winter Harlow (Ben Stanton); grandchildren, Dylan Sipper and Kinsley Stanton; great grandchildren, Lilly Sipper and Gracie Sipper; brother, Mike Piner (Wanda); many extended family members and friends.

Robert served proudly in the US Navy.

Robert will be remembered for his easygoing spirit, his love of spending time with friends, and the many memories he created throughout his life. He especially enjoyed shooting pool at Harvey’s, where he shared countless laughs and conversations, and playing poker with his many friends. One of his favorite daily traditions was enjoying breakfast at Olde Carolina Eatery, where he looked forward to good food, familiar faces, and friendly conversations.

Robert treasured the friendships he built over the years and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Whether around the pool table, the poker table, or over breakfast with friends, he was happiest in the company of those he cared about.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The wonderful memories of Robert will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.
