Robert Joseph Walsh, Sr., age 83, of West Milford, NJ passed away June 7, 2019. In addition to West Milford, Robert also spent part of his time in Wilmington, NC and Indian Rocks Beach, FL.

Robert was born June 14, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Harold and Joan Alice Walsh. He worked for 37 years for the Port Authority of NY/NJ before his retirement. He was a past member of the APWA of NJ and a practicing Catholic. Robert will be remembered as a dedicated father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents Robert was also predeceased by his brother, Richard Walsh.

Left to remember him are his wife, Doris Margaret Walsh; son Robert Walsh, Jr. and his wife Nancy; daughter Roben Edwards; brothers, Harold Walsh and his wife Cathie and Matty Walsh; grandchildren, Krystal Dowda and her husband David; Shannen Walsh; Boe Edwards and his wife Amy; Tiffany Sperry and her husband Jon; and Nick Edwards and his wife Crystal; and great-grandchildren Adriana, McKenzie, Alexa, Kayla, and Bella.

Visitation will be held 6:00 PM Saturday June 8, 2019 at Quinn McGowen in Wilmington, NC.

A funeral mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at the Basilica Shrine Of Saint Mary in Wilmington.
