Ronald "Ronnie" Edward DeBose, 63, of Watha passed peacefully from his earthly life on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at his home.
He was born August 12, 1952, in Pender County, the son of the Joyce Taylor Padgett and the late Ivey Franklin DeBose. Also remembered is his daughter, Vicky Williams who preceded Ronnie in death.
In addition to his mother, Ronald is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda DeBose; sons, Danny Naramore (Diana) and Jimmy Bourqoyne; son-in-law, Scott Williams; grandchildren, Joseph Williams, Rachel Perry (Tyler), Jacob Williams and Dalton Naramore; great granddaughter, Naomi Perry; brother, Donald Ray DeBose; and many extended family and friends.
Ronnie loved his family and his grandchildren brought much joy into his life. He enjoyed family gathering; cookouts with family and friends being a favorite. Fishing was a sport he enjoyed as spending time with nature in God's beautiful world was special and relaxing. Ronnie will be remembered for his love of family, his joy in life, his wonderful sense of humor and caring manner. He will not be forgotten.
The family will receive friends 1 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw. Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Burgaw Chapel with The Rev. Randy Little officiating. Burial will follow in Wells Family Cemetery, Horse Branch Road, Watha.
