Ronnie Dale Bowden, 68, of Ivanhoe passed from his earthly life Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home.

He was born July 8, 1955 in Pender County, the son of Arthur Ray Bowden and Sallie Williams Bowden. In addition to his parents Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Bowden and Infant Boy Bowden.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Glenda Lee Bowden; brother, Roger Bowden, Sr.; sister, Betty Wainwright; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Ronnie retired from Willie's Tire Service in Burgaw after faithfully working for many years. Ronnie and Glenda attended Full Gospel Church.

Fresh water fishing and taking care of his cats were two of the things Ronnie most enjoyed. Above everything he loved and cared for his wife, Glenda.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Rayford Hankins will conduct the service.

Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
