Rosella "Roz" Organ Walton, age 66, of Rocky Point passed gently from her earthly life Monday, July 31, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington.

She was born October 2, 1956 in Wilmington, the daughter of John David Organ (beloved daddy) and Juanita Harnish Organ, who was also her best friend. In addition to her parents Rosella was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Mary Helen Organ and her father-in-law, Ray Walton.

Rosella is survived by her husband, Mark Walton; daughter, Mallory Walton; sister, Brenda Zeilinga; brother, David Organ; mother-in-law, Charlotte Walton; several nieces, nephews and extended family and many friends.

Rosella was affectionately called Roz by those who knew and loved her. Always the life of the party, Roz had no filter and what she was thinking came quickly out of her mouth. Her joy in life and laughter were contagious and uplifting. Mallory was the greatest gift and bright light in both Roz and Mark's life. Roz was proficient at grilling and cooking. She also enjoyed reading. Most of all Roz loved her family.

Memorial service remembering Roz's wonderful life will be private.
