Roy Arthur Fuson, Jr., age 44, of Willard passed from his earthly life on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 11, 1967 in Niles, Michigan and was the son of Penny Rink Ritchie and the late Roy Fuson.

In addition to his mother Roy is survived by his son, Derek L. Fuson of Willard; daughter, Kimberly Fuson of Burgaw; step-mother, Sherri M. Fuson of Burgaw; step-daughters, Sarah Calkins and Cassandra Cruz both of Wilmington; brothers, Michael Fuson (Mindy) of Niles, Michigan and Jared Fuson (Donnelle) of Elkart, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and mother of his children, Diane Fuson of Rocky Point.

Roy was a joy to know with his contagious laughter and zest for life. Most important in his life was his family, especially his children and grandchildren who he dearly cherished. Roy loved being outdoors in God's beautiful world fishing and hunting. His joyful spirit and his sunny smile will be remembered and forever missed.

The family will be at the home of Sherri Fuson.
