Roy Huffin, Jr., age 78, of Wallace passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at the Gardens of Rose Hill.

He was born on February 17, 1945 in Duplin County; the son of the late David Junior Huffman and the late Mary Magalene Huffin.  Roy was also preceded in death by his brother, Donnell "Willow" Huffin; his sister, Marilyn Floyd; niece, Barbara Newkirk and his maternal grandmother, Christine Huffin.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his siblings: his sister, Geraldine Huffin of Deep Bottom Community; his brother, Tommy Huffham of Rose Hill, his sister-in-law, Vianne Newkirk of Magnolia; numerous nieces, nephews, extended friends and family who loved Roy dearly.

Roy was a man who enjoyed life and lived it HIS WAY.  He was a caring man who loved everybody and always treated everyone the same.  Roy loved good music and enjoyed riding arounding Wallace and surrounding areas talking to friends and meeting new people. He was a people's person and never met a stanger. Roy took great pride in dressing up and looking good.  With a kind heart and great personality, Roy was a joy to be around. He was a true friend to those who were fortunate to know him.  He will surely be missed but never forgotten.

Graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Duplin Memorial Gardens, Teachey, NC.
