Roy Scott Parrish, age 59, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

(Roy) Scott Parrish was born in Las Vegas, NV to the late Roy Parrish and Martha Anderson on April 2, 1965. He was the loving father of Kimberly Brumsey (Ben), Russell, Ashley, Devon Richards and his beloved dog, Ooba. Beloved grandfather of Brighton Brumsey, Franchesca and Xander Richards, Alissandra Maldonado, Leonard and Russell Wojtkowiak. Dear brother of the late Richard Parrish. Scott was an accomplished electrical Forman with Mojave Electric in Las Vegas, NV, and later, Philadelphia Electric in PA before retiring in 2022 to Wilmington, NC to be near his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed reading books about history and politics and liked to relax watching the news. He loved watching the birds and feeding the squirrels with his dog, Ooba. He was a devoted Running Rebels and Steeler's fan.  He was a dedicated family man who loved to cook and plan family vacations. He loved all things Disney and especially enjoyed planning annual family trips to Disney World right down to a tee. He took great joy in picking out different restaurants, hotels and events to suit all of his children's and grandchildren's different tastes. Disney World with his family truly was his happiest place on earth. He also loved to tell funny stories and jokes - some of which we've all lovingly heard many times over. He will be forever missed.
