Roy Burley Ritterbusch, Jr. 36, of Willard beloved dad, son, brother, and friend has left this earth too soon. Friday, March 25, 2016 Roy went home to join his beloved son, Brent and brother, Ronnie in heaven.

He was born October 4, 1979 in Wilmington. Roy is survived by his mother, Patricia English Pigford and her husband, Deane; father, Roy B. Ritterbusch, Sr. and his wife, Carolyn; his adored children, Lauren Ritterbusch, Christian Ritterbusch and Trey Ritterbusch; mother of their children, Jessica Wells Ritterbusch; brother, William Carter and Johnnie Ritterbusch; sisters, Barbie R. Jackson (Allan) and Lorie Norris (Z. J.); step-siblings, Brian Willetts, Amy Blackstock (Jon) and Eddie Lanier (Michelle); a special lady in Roy's life, Danille Shucks; and many extended family and friends.

Roy was a beautiful light who cast a beacon of love, laughter, and genuine kindness to all who crossed his path. His greatest gift was the joy he brought others through his laughter with the warmth of his love and friendship that he offered freely. Roy loved his family, especially his children. He will be missed and not forgotten.

Visitation with family will be 11 to 12 noon on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Willard Baptist Church with service beginning at 12 noon with Pastor David Knowles and Pastor Timothy Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
