Ruby L. West, 74 of Wrightsboro, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCareCenter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Barbara Pait.

Ruby is survived by her special love of 32 years Billy Eason, daughters Donna Sue West and Sheila Burton (Randy), son Bobby Newman Benton, sisters Elizabeth Bryan (Julian), Debbie Edwards (Bill), brothers Roy West (Vivian), Glen West (Lyla), brother in law Roy Pait, grandchildren Melissa Longnecker, John Jenness, Jr, Joshua Jenness, Charles Bowden, IV, Jennifer Bowden, Casey Burton, Sarah Benton, Alex Benton and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2PM Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM. Interment Riverview Memorial Park in Watha.

Ruby had a passion for gardening and cooking. As her garden was plentiful she enjoyed cooking her harvest and sharing it with people around her. She always had wonderful meals prepared for anyone in need. Cherished memories of Ruby will live on in our hearts and minds.
