Ruth Sadler Futch, age 82, of Burgaw died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Huntington Health Care.

She was born April 6, 1925 in Pamlico County, the daughter of the late Charlie Bryan and Marthena Lupton Sadler. She was predeceased by her husband, William Earnest Futch, Sr.

Mrs. Futch was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, William E. "Bill" Futch, Jr. of Mint Hill and David B. Futch and his wife, Jo Lynn of Currie; daughter, Falvette Futch of Hickory; grandchildren, Trumilla Morris, William Michael Futch, Alicia Hedge and Jennifer Renegar; and great grandchildren, Celeste Morris, Kyler Grant Morris, Porter Hedge, Sydney Hedge, Jackson Renegar, Nathaniel Renegar and William H. Futch.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Bible Baptist Church, one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Bible Baptist Church with The Rev. Dan Robelen and The Rev. Carl Gibbs officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
