COLUMBIA, SC. A memorial service for Ruth Naomi Jeffries Williams, 84, will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. A graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Rockfish Cemetery, Wallace, N.C. Quinn McGowen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in N.C.
Mrs. Williams, wife of the late Robert Cleveland Williams, died Monday, March 3, 2008. Born in Pontnewynydd, Wales, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Jeffries and Ruth Naomi Jeffries. She was a member of Croft Baptist Church in Spartanburg, S.C.
Surviving are daughters, Vicki Clement of Greenville and Joellen Cook of Columbia; son Jeff Williams of Charleston; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives.
