Salina Rose Populus, age 57, of Burgaw passed peacefully from her earthly life on Friday, July 5, 2024 at The Laurels of Pender.

She was born March 6, 1967 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late David Populus, Sr. and Illinois Carr Populus.

Salina is survived by her daughters, Lissa Jones and Selest Jacobs; sister, Antoinette Weathers and husband, David; and brother, David Populus and wife, Michele; and other family and friends.

Salina had a beautiful smile and maintained a positive outlook on life while she suffered for many years with health issues. She handled "all the cards she was delt" with grace. She enjoyed coloring and arts and crafts. Salina's family was so very loving and caring which was a wonderful blessing to Salina. Salina's family feels the void left in their lives but rejoices in the fact that she is now healed and at peace.
