Sally Ellen Navaroli, 86, of Raleigh and formerly of the Shiloh Community passed peacefully from her earthly life Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Hospice of Davidson County Hinkle Hospice House.

She was born July 26, 1935 in Pender County, the daughter of Jesse and Grace Eakins Moore. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Anthony Navaroli; and sisters, Elsie Simpson, Lila Walker and Nina Formyduval.

Ellen is survived by her children, Roddy Anthony Navaroli, Janine Letiza Gebhardt and husband, David, and Jay Norman Navaroli and wife, Judy; brother, Edward Timothy Moore and wife, Edna; many other extended family and friends.

Ellen was a faithful catholic and attended St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Burgaw and Transfiguration of Jesus Catholic Church in Wallace when she lived in the area.

Ellen loved her family and raised her children single handedly after her beloved husband died on active duty in the military when Ellen was only 31. She always made sure her children had everything they needed, much of what they wanted and all the love she could give them. Ellen loved and served the Lord all of her life. She was a loving, sharing, giving lady who will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in the Transfiguration of Jesus Catholic Church Fellowship Hall with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Father Randy Gonzales will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Eakins Family Cemetery..
