Sandra "Sandy" Patrick Green, 82, passed gently from her earthly life Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Wilmington.

She was born April 23, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama. Sandra was preceded in death by her father and mother, Addleia Nichols Ward.

Sandy is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert Eugene Green; daughters, Janet Green, Penny Howard (Bruce), and as close as a daughter, Charron Pine; son, Dennis Green (Vanessa); grandsons, Cody Howard (Amanda) and Wesley Green; great granddaughters, Bella  and Lainey; many extended family and friends.

Sandy loved and served her Lord, Jesus Christ all of her days on this earth. She was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Sandy was blessed with many talents, one of which was artistry creating beautiful paintings. Also, she loved flowers and creating beautiful floral arrangements enjoyed by many. Most of all Sandy loved and took good care of her family. Sandy's beautiful smile and sharing spirit will be remembered.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5709 Murrayville Road, Wilmington, NC 28405 with Pastor Arnold Griffin conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:30 p.m., thirty minutes prior to the memorial service.
