Sandra Faye Powell, 79, of Wallace, North Carolina passed from this life to her eternal rest on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

She was born on August 10, 1944 in Hopewell, Virginia; the daughter of the late Linwood K. and Mary Louise Griffith Ballard. She was also preceded in death by her husband Delton Theo Powell; son Mark Ziegler; daughter Lisa Zeigler and numerous siblings.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her son Craig Zeigler and wife Joanne of Bowie, Maryland; grandsons Steven Zeigler and Brian Zeigler and wife Lakita; granddaughter Elizabeth Zeigler, six great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Treasured memories of Sandra will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
