Sandra Kay Ramsey, age 68, of Burgaw passed from her earthly life Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at her home.

She was born March 5, 1954 in Wilmington, the daughter of George T. Ramsey and Mary Benton Ramsey. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Ramsey, Larry Benton, Gerry Ramsey, and David Ramsey.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Gina Rosa (Edgar), Tina McNeill (Edward) and Deana Williams (Steven); grandchildren, Melissa K. Williams, Candace Lawrence, Katelin Ramsey, Brittany Lawrence, Tommy Lawrence, Courtnay Lawrence, Cameron Lawrence, and Kristina McNeill; seventeen great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Shepard (Ricky), Terry Ramsey, and Harry Benton; sisters-in-law, Valda Ramsey and Glenda Ramsey; many extended family members and friends.

Sandra was a delightful family oriented lady with a sparkling personality who gloried in all of her family.  She was a loved member in her community where she made many lasting friendships. For fun and artistry Sandra enjoyed coloring. Most of all Sandra loved her family and friends.

There will be a gathering of family and friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home for a time of sharing fond memories.
