Sharon Hope Giddeons, age 60, of Wallace left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Friday, July 1, 2022.

She was born on July 4, 1961 in New Hanover County; the daughter of the late L.C. and Nettie Albertson Giddeons.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her son, Aaron Peterson of Willard; her grandsons, Mylez Peterson, Hayden Peterson and Brenin Register;r sister, Carol Giddeons Grady and husband, Clegg of Kenansville; brother, Tracy Giddeons nad wife, Tammy of Wallace; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved Sharon dearly.

Sharon was loving mother and caring grandmother and sister.  She enjoyed being around people and her loved for others shown in the way she treated others. Sharon believed in fairy tales, and especially in the story of Cinderella.  With her sweet and outgoing personality, Sharon never met a stranger.  She had a generous spirit and whether it was family, friends or complete strangers, she was always willing to help.  Her love was unconditional. Sharon loved her son and her grandson very much; but most of all, she loved God and made a point of reading her Bible every day.  Sharon is now at peace resting in arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She will surely be missed on this earth but memories of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00p.m. Friday evening, July 8, 2022 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with Pastor Earl Hardy officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
