Sherry Knight Murray, 73, of Watha passed from her earthly life Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at her home.

She was born December 7, 1946 in Sanford, the daughter of the late Walter and Nancy Rosser Knight.

Sherry is survived by her beloved family; her husband of over 38 years, Fred Murray; daughter, Samantha Castle; sons, Allen Lynthacum (Stephanie) and Franklin Val Donathan (Courtney); step children, Toni White (David), Harold "Hal" Murray, Donna Murray, Stephen Murray and Westly Murray; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jean McPherson (Dennis) and Christine Presley (Larry); and many extended family and friends.

Sherry was a faithful member of United Faith Fellowship in Atkinson.

Sherry was a delight to know. With her sweet spirit, bubbling personality, and generous nature Sherry made friends easily. She was a great cook and was noted for her coconut pies. Most of all Sherry loved her family and showed it in so many ways. Sherry will be remembered for her Christian spirit and the joy she brought into so many lives.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha with Pastor Don Yerby officiating.
