Sheryl Lynn Andrews, 62, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington.

She was born on April 5, 1962, in Wilmington, to the late Bennie and Peggy (Herring) Register.

Sheryl was baptized, saved, and a former member at Grace Baptist Church. She loved to play bingo and dance. Sheryl was a bright light to many people, and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her uncle, Bob Register and wife, Connie; aunt, Judy Chornobay; special friends, KK and Anne Lee; and a host of other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sheryl was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Register and Jeffrey Register.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Topsail Baptist Church in Hampstead with Pastor Bryan Griffith officiating.
