Sheryl A. Cottle, age 70, of Rocky Point passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 26, 1946 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of the late William Lego and Jeannine Charlton Lego. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cottle.

Sheryl was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Lynn Wehausen, Daniel Mong Jr., Tracy Cameron Peterson and husband Michael, Shane Cottle and wife Lisa, and Shawn Cottle and wife Angela; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Bill Lego; sister, Cindy Gibson and husband Jack; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday, February 17, 2017 at Quinn McGowen Wilmington Chapel.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
