Shirley Anne Grygiel, age 84, of Rocky Point passed into the glory of her Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

She was born May 15, 1938 in Rock Hill, SC, the daughter of Heyward Curtis Arrants and Frances Leona Bass Arrants. In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Margo Williams.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Kelli Woodall and Whitney Lee; grandchildren, Zachary Gibbs, Josiah Mason, Paige Gibbs, Mason Grygiel and Forrest Grygiel; great grandchildren, Bentley Montgomery and Sadie Grygiel; special helpful friends, John Pelfrey, Doug Blumeyer, and Robert Verzaal; several nieces and nephews; and not to be forgotten her furry four footed companion, EJ.

Shirley Anne was the most God loving woman that ever walked this Earth. To anyone that knew her she was a bright shining light, that would do anything for anyone. Your journey is now with your parents, my Daddy, your husband Gene, and your daughter, Margo. May you still be the brightest light above in Heaven, forever we will love you.

A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5709 Murrayville Road, Wilmington, NC 28405 on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1 p.m.  Pastor Gary Griffin will conduct the service.
