Shirley Ann Millican Jarmon, 65, beloved wife of John Steven Jarmon, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at home with her family by her side. She was born in San Diego, C.A., on March 16, 1955 to the late Gorden Henderson Millican and Corine Hixson Millican.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her grandson, Charles William Berger.

Shirley is survived by her husband, John Steven Jarmon; children, Mary Berger, Chad Brumley,  Shanna Moye (Kenny) and John Devenger; special daughter, Edith Copp; grandchildren, Nickolas Bell, Megan Brumley, Ethan Moye, and Markus Brumley; sisters, Mary Webb, Pam Bell, and Katherine Cook, and many extended family members who Shirley loved and cherished dearly.

Family was the center of Shirley's life. She created a home filled with love, goodness and good cooking. Her presence in our family circle and in our world will be greatly missed.

A walk through visitation will be held 6 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Chapel in Burgaw.
