Sidney Lewis Yopp, age 63, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

He was born on December 28, 1957 in Norfolk, VA to Barbara Elaine Cooper Yopp and the late Abbott Dallam Yopp, Jr.

Sidney was a very funny man and enjoyed being around people. He liked spending time fishing and shooting pool. Sidney was loved by his family and friends, who will miss him very much.

In addition to his mother, Sidney is survived by his sons, Jacob and James (Emily); daughters, Kari, Sydney, and Brandi; brother, Jason (Catherine); sister, Beverly (Jimmy); seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Sidney was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel.

A graveside service will be held at St. Andrew's On-the-Sound Episcopal Church in Wilmington on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2pm.
