Solvi Loining West, 72, of Sneads Ferry, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Solvi was born in Egersund, Norway on January 6, 1949 to the late Bertel and Marie Helena Berg Loining.

Solvi is survived by her children, Kari Christina Snezek and husband Timothy of Sneads Ferry, and Kyle Matthew West and wife Porter of Ware Shoals, S.C.; grandchildren, Elizabeth West, Annabelle Snezek, Brianna Snezek, and nephews, Adam West and wife Anna, and Eric West.

Solvi was very kind hearted and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

There will be no services for Solvi at this time.
