Sommer Renee Jones, age 42, of Rose Hill left this earthly life way too soon on  Monday, April 3, 2023.

She was born on April 15, 1980 on the US Naval Base in Charleston, SC to William Glenn Jones of Rose Hill and the late Judy Rouse Jones. She was also preceded in death by her nephew William Thomas "TJ" Mattox; paternal grandparents, W.R and Susie Jones and maternal grandmother, Helen Rouse.

Surviving, in addition to her father, is her fiancé Jeffery Dion Graham of Rose Hill; sister Amy Cavenaugh and husband Bryan of Wallace; nieces Autumn Nicole Mattox and Austin Harley Mattox; great niece Karsyn Lynn Smith; numerous extended family and friends that loved Sommer dearly.

Sommer was a special young lady who loved life and the people in her life.  She enjoyed crafting and taking care of others.  With a big heart and love for people, Sommer was always ready to help anyone in need.  She was one who would stand up for those who could not stand for themselves.  Sommer loved animals and they seemed to gravitate to her.  She was a very sweet, kind and loving lady who looked for the good in everyone.    She has now joined her mother Judy who left us way to soon last year.   Sommer will surely be missed but she will never be forgotten.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

There will be a private family burial later.
