Susie, as she was affectionately called, was an amazing mother and caring daughter and sister. She was a strong, courageous and yet gentle young lady who cared about the needs of others and brought out the best in those who were near and dear to her. Being one who loved the outdoors, Susie enjoyed gardening, such as planting flowers and watching butterflies. She also enjoyed reading and going fishing with her brother, Johnny. Susie loved her family unconditionally and was always there for them. She was a friend to all. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, Susie was beautiful on the inside. Susie will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, contributions to help with Susie's funeral expenses will be greatly appreciated. Please send these gifts of love to Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home. PO Box 339, Wallace, NC 28466.
