It is with great sadness we share the sudden passing of our dear Susan Elaine Wells on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the age of 68, way too young.

She was born September 16, 1955 in Fort Ord, California, the daughter of Nicholas Benjamin Trujillo and Wanda Josephine Lesneski Trujillo.

Susan is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Becky Mares; stepson, Zeb Wells; son-in-law, Carl Smith; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Patty Lingerfelt (Jimmy), Tina Wamble (David) and Kathy Siffing (Raymond); several nieces and nephews. Not to be forgotten are her much loved terriers, Moose and Molly, who were her constant companions.

Susan was a devoted and remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who loved and cared for her family. Her brightly shining light often served as a guide to those around her. Those that knew Susan will always remember her passion for growing beautiful flowers, cooking Mexican food for those she loved; and fishing anywhere she could find water to drop her hook in. Her presence in our lives will be forever missed.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
