Tekla was a strong but warm and loving mother and grandmother who loved her children dearly. She was a great homemaker who prided herself on her delicious Polish cooking and spent many hours in the kitchen preparing meals for her family. Although Tekla thought her lack of education proved otherwise, she was a smart and intelligent lady who had a memory better than most people. She was proud of her family and wanted her children to have a good education. She believed America would fulfill this desire and their dreams of success. Cherished memories of Tekla will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
