Teresa Elise Wooten, 55, of Holly Ridge passed peacefully from her earthly home on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at her home.

She was born November 26, 1956 in Laurinburg and was the daughter of the late Leroy Amos Wooten and Elise Brumbles Wooten.

Teresa is survived by her daughter, Christina Jones of Ashboro; sons, Leroy Barton of Sumter, SC and Brandon Barton of Holly Ridge; brother, Jack D. Wooten (Karen) of Vass; grandchildren, Christopher Barton, Joseph Barton, Cameron Barton, Jaylynn Barton, Shae Jones and Chantella Jones; and extended family and friends.

Teresa was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Her bright smile, gentle manner and warm heart were a blessing to so many. Fond memories of Teresa are treasured and will remain in the hearts of family and friends.
