Obituary

Terri Lynne Malpass, age 52, of Burgaw passed peacefully under God's care from her earthly life to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Quinn Hospice Care Center with family by her side.

She was born November 3, 1959 in Burgaw, the daughter of her beloved parents, Carolyn Hale Comentale of Burgaw and the late Anthony "Tony" John Comentale. Also remembered is her brother, Joseph Comentale who preceded Terri in death.

In addition to her mother Terri is survived by her loving family and many friends, sister, Anna Holland (Rob) of Cary; brothers, John Comentale and Jesse "Jake" Malpass both of Burgaw; half-sister, Donna Mullen of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; extended family; prayer partners and ones who walked Terri's journey with her, Debbie Anderson, Sherry Comentale, Julie Blodgett, Tammy Peterson, and Sandra Taylor; and many other cherished friends.

Terri was of the Messianic Judaism faith, a follower of the Yeshua Messiah, being very devout in her belief.

Terri, a lady filled with grace and a strong Christian spirit loved and served her Lord, her family and her friends. Terri, filled with kindness, compassion, joy and laughter loved with all of her heart and her radiant smile brightened the life of everyone she knew. She was a gift to this world and was so loved. Since February of this year Terri's Christian faith and courage has sustained her as she fought a valiant battle with cancer. Terri truly leaves a legacy of faith, love and hope. Terri's family is grateful for all acts of kindness and prayers that have lent them support during her illness. We thank God, our Heavenly Father, for the gift of friends and pray His eternal blessings to all.

A graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Riverview Memorial Park with her brother, Minister Jesse Malpass and Rabbi Martin Schilsky officiating.

A memorial service and a time of sharing memories of Terri will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Minister Jesse Malpass and Rabbi Martin Schisky officiating.

In loving memory and in honor of Terri memorial gifts may be given to Amour of God Ministries, 675 US Hwy 117 S, Burgaw NC 28425.
