Terry Randolph Piner, age 62 of Willard died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his residence.

He was born January 1, 1947 in Pender County and was the son of Martha Piner Rivenbark of Wallace. He was predeceased by his sister, Julia Marie Wurtz.

Terry served his country honorably in the US Navy. He was an automobile salesman for many years and a member of Willard Baptist Church. Being a man with a generous spirit and a love for people, he was always willing to lend a hand to help those in need. Terry will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his loving mother is his daughter, Teresa D. Arneson and granddaughter, Kristina Marie Arneson of Lincoln City, Oregon; his sisters, Emily P. Brock (Edward) of Beulaville and Carole R. Canady (Eddie) of Hope Mills and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be 4:00 Friday, September 18, 2009 at Willard Baptist Church with the Reverend David Knowles officiating.
