Mrs. Thelma Webber Parrish, age 85, of Liberty, NC died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at her residence.

She was born January 23, 1924, in Greene County and was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Myrtie Holloman Webber. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Lucille McCoy, Bertha Carr, Bessie Wainright and Pattie Mae McCoy and brothers, William Ray Webber and James Franklin Webber, Jr.

Surviving are her loving husband of sixty-three years, James Parrish of the home; sisters, Katie Williams of Raleigh, Mildred Mull of Aberdine, Louise Collins of Southern Pines and Geraldine Register of Surf City; brother, Arthur Lewis Webber of Willard and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 6:30 PM Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with the Rev. Brian Harrington officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening immediately following the funeral service until 8:30 pm and other times at the home of Arthur Lewis Webber.

Graveside service will be Friday, July 17, 2009 at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.
