Thomas Henry Bolling, age 62, of Rocky Point died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 4, 1946 in Brunswick County and was the son of the late Earl Beverly Bolling and Annie Willetts Bolling.
Surviving are his wife of seventeen years, Gail Crocker Bolling of the home; daughters, Pamela Ann Bolling of Wilmington and Angela Marie Best and her husband, Robert of Hampstead; grandchildren, Thomas Best and Robert Earl Best; sisters, Lynn Evans of Rocky Point, Emily Tremblay of Lowell, Massachusetts, Rae Cobb of Washington State, Betty Jean Browning of Winnabow, Virginia Ward of Bolton, and Barbara Jackson of Texas; brother, James Eichorn of Winnabow; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Thomas loved his family dearly and showed it in many ways. Being an avid hunter and fisherman, he always enjoyed being outdoors in God's beautiful world. He was a noted and talented sheet metal worker and took great pride in his work. Cherished memories of Thomas will forever remain in our hearts.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Pastor Billy Fowler officiating.
