Thomas Stanley Karwoski, Jr., 77, of Burgaw passed gently from his earthly life on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Ashe Gardens in Burgaw.

He was born in Bradley, Ohio the son of the late Thomas Stanley Karwoski Sr. and Margaret Puskas Karwoski. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Karwoski and half brother Joseph Carl Nemeti.

Tom graduated from Burgaw High School in 1958. Following his graduation he served his country in the United States Air Force as an Air Police Man. Later he followed a career path that led him to New York where he met and married the love of his life, Dorothy and he was blessed with three step children and two twin daughters of his own. He was employed with Siemens International as an engineer, which made it possible to travel extensively throughout the world including South Africa, Norway, Columbia, Saudi Arabia as well as numerous other countries. He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, husband and friend that will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his children, Dawn Homatas (Jim), Cynthia Lambert (Larry); step children, David Lannack, Douglas Lannack and Deborah Lannack; numerous grandchildren; brother, Ted Karwoski; sister, Patricia Miller (Mickey); and numerous other loving friends and family.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 11, 2016 Jordans Chapel United Methodist Church 4670 Stag Park Rd, Burgaw, NC with Pastor Bill Applewhite officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
