Timothy "Timmy" Eugene Orr, 52, of Currie died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 22, 2021  in Pender County, leaving his beloved family way to soon.

He was born September 20, 1969 in Pender County. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, D. B. and Louise Bell Orr.

Timmy is survived by his father, David Billy Orr; mother, Faye Wells Smith and her husband, Johnny Smith; daughters, Emily Paige Orr (Anthony Owens) and Kayla Brook Orr Marshburn (Jeff); grandchildren, Kaleb Owens and Isabelle Marshburn; wife, Lorraine Teachey Orr; brother, Michael Orr (Rhonda); sister, Cindy Orr; special friends, Sal Lana and Matt Bell; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and numerous friends.

By career Timmy was an excellent floor installer. He was a member of New Beginnings Community Church.

Above all Timmy loved his family. For fun Timmy enjoyed go-cart racing and dirt tract racing. He had many friends, who along with his family loved him dearly.

A graveside memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Malpass Family Cemetery on Richard Switch Road with Pastor Sal Lana conducting the service.
