Tincie Lee Meeks Shively, 72, of Burgaw passed gently from her earthly life Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home surrounded with love by her family.

She was born May 20, 1948 in Fulton County, GA, the daughter of the Delmas Lee Meeks and Cynthia Marie Hill Meeks. In addition to her parents, Tincie was preceded in death by her brothers, Quinton Meeks and Gayron Meeks.

Tincie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry D. Shively; daughters, Theresa Shively and Jennifer Shively; grandchildren, Patrick Matthews and Dorian Matthews; sisters, Diana Meeks Black and Janice Meeks Arena; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Burgaw.

Tincie grew up on a farm in Florida and as a youth enjoyed horse back riding. She enjoyed gardening and was a dedicated homemaker and cook; loved teaching her girls homemaking skills. Through the years Tincie and family enjoyed many happy times together at the family beach cottage in Boca Grande, FL. Most important in Tincie's life was God and her beloved family. Tincie was loved and will be missed.

Due to health concerns with COVID-19 there will be a memorial service at a later date.
