Todd Barry Hanchey, 52, of Wallace, NC passed away unexpectantly at his home.

He was born on January 20, 1966 in Wilmington, NC and was the son of the late Ray and Mary Beam Hanchey.

Surviving is his brother, Ted Ray "T.R." Hanchey of Wallace; sisters, Teresa H. Faircloth and husband, Donald of Florence, SC and Terry H. Burr and husband, George of Chesterfield, SC; nieces, Patricia Faircloth, Angela Hunt (John) and Kristie Burr (David); nephews, Donald Faircloth, Jr. (Amanda) and Christopher Burr; numerous extended family and friends who loved Todd dearly.

Todd was a simple man who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed going to the beach and surfing. Being a single "Country Boy", Todd enjoyed his peaceful and quiet lifestyle. Todd loved animals and at one time, he wanted to find a squirrel to raise and take care of. Todd will surely be missed but treasured memories of him will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel.
