Tracy McGee Elliott, age 75, of Burgaw and formerly of Gadsden, AL, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 12, 1932 in Gadsden, AL, the son of the late Troy Wayne and Lora Estelle Helm Elliott. He was also predeceased by his brother, Braden Elliott.

Mr. Elliott served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired after working twenty-five years with General Electric Company-Aircraft Engines Division in Wilmington.

Surviving are his devoted children, Terry Elliott and wife, Teresa of Hoke's Bluff, AL, Greg Elliott and wife, Kelly of Southside, AL, Lisa Caison and husband, Joe of Ivanhoe, Chris Elliott and wife, Sherlon of Burgaw and Jan Stoudenmire of Wilmington; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lamar and Sue Elliott of Gadsden AL, Benny and Joyce Elliott and Bobby and Glenda Elliott all of Rainbow City, AL; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Gadsden, AL.

Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, Gadsden, AL.
